Easter Sunday, a day to relax with family and eat some good home made food. Well so long as you live near your family, some of us hoodlums had nothing to do on Easter sunday and decided to meet up before the sun went down. Ernesto and I took a ride out to Dave n Busters in Farmingdale to snap some pictures of the L.I Low N Slow meet. I was surprised at the turn out and it was a fairly calm meet until some hondas decided to race in the parking lot.. theres always one person to kill it for everyone. Before long the police showed up and everyone scattered, luckily we snuck in some shots before we had to leave.
We spent a lot of time preparing our cars for what would turn out to be one of the biggest season kick off meets I have ever seen. The amount of cars that tried to pile into Heckscher State park was mind blowing to say the least and It was good to see so many different makes and models of cars come together for one event. Even the american cars that would show up were given as much respect as anyone else. However the meet would quickly turn into something way bigger than ever the creators could have imagined and within 2 hours and having the park closed by the authorities it was off to find a bigger spot for all the cars to spend the day. Unfortunately we were unable to go to the new spot in Farmingdale but we were able to get some great coverage of what is sure to be just the beginning of these Island Import Days.
